    You are being treated with hydroxychloroquine Plaquenil which is the standard drug used to treat lupus. It is an anti-malarial. This drug has nothing to do with thyroid. You do need answers by a specialist. I would never recommend stopping any prescribed drug without the knowledge and approval of your doctor.
