He also added the tindamax because I have some parasite infection according to the Fry Smear. I started the azithryomicin weds and started feeling yucky herxing yesterday. There are many different antibiotics that can be used for Lyme and Lyme-related infections, and my decision regarding which ones to use is usually based upon the combination of co-infections that patients present and the combinations of medications that work well for all of these infections. Plaquenil hydroxychloroquine "I felt better than I have in 20 years! After 20 years on NSAIDS needed for Lyme arthritis, my kidneys were affected, and when I stopped NSAIDS cold turkey, it was amazing how much pain my body was in. In the US and other places of the world still some consider Hydroxychloroquine Plaquenil for treating malaria and the herb “Artemisin” or Artemisinin is the new way to treat – not very well accepted in my home country because the results are not as expected; they really deal with this disease every day and have been treating it. Plaquenil has been shown in the past to be potentially helpful for cysts. However, this was not replicated by Dr. Sapi’s lab. Alinia may be good for both cysts and spirochetes. Metronidazole and Doxycycline combined appeared to have a very good effect on both spirochetes and cyst forms. Doxycycline + Tinidazole was shown to be the best. I take both minocycline and plaquenil. I tried weening myself off the plaquenil, but, couldn't take the pain. I've only been on the mino since February. But, so far I've had more good days than bad. And, that's a great thing. This time last year I believed my active days were over. I wasn't able to get out of bed for more than an hour at a time.
